REVISTA PORTUGUESA DE DIREITO CONSTITUCIONAL | PT

Note and acknowledgment to the Authors

Welcome to the website of the Portuguese Review of Constitutional Law.

We take the opportunity of your visit to thank you for your curiosity on the Review, in the expectation that it may spark your interest in contributing as an author.

Prior to submitting any article (by email to be sent to rpdc.aatric@gmail.com), we recommend consulting the Editorial Charter and the By-laws of the Review, which are available here, in order to confirm your interest and the opportunity in submitting it for publication in the PRCL.

To the exception of those published in the inaugural issue of the Review and of those corresponding to oral presentations delivered at the invitation of the AATRIC in its yearly seminars on constitutional jurisprudence, all contributions published in the PRCL are subject to peer-reviewing, the anonymity of both authors and peer-reviewers being ensured by the Board of Directors of the Review.

Finally, the Review invites you to take into consideration the rules of style that must be observed in preparing your contribution.

We look forward to receiving your proposal and will write back at the earliest possibility.

Peer-reviewing

In accordance with the By-laws of the PRCL, once a contribution has been received via e-mail (with the Board of Directors securing the anonymity of the author(s)), the Editorial Board performs a preliminary assessment and issues an opinion as to whether it is appropriate from an editorial perspective and in line with the objectives and principles of the Review.

Upon a positive assessment by the Editorial Board, the contribution (to the exception of those corresponding to oral presentations delivered at the invitation of the AATRIC) is subject to peer-review carried out with the anonymity of the author and the reviewer (blind peer-review).

The peer-review is carried out by one (1) reviewer, who shall fill-in a form provided by the PRCL to that effect. The peer-review may result in acceptance, acceptance with proposed amendments or rejection. Acceptance with proposed amendments and rejection shall be substantiated, if only concisely.

In case of acceptance with proposed amendments, the author may amend his/her article in line with the suggestions of the reviewer or provide reasons for disagreeing with those suggestions; in the latter case, the reviewer shall be heard again.
